Well this is my Teenager Shaunie (she will hate this picture). Shaunie hates to have her picture taken but she had just got this new hat and it was pretty darn cute. Her and I went into R&R just before she left for Nationals and found these cute hats we tried them on and took pictures with our phones it was great fun she of course talked me into buying it for her I really didn't think she would wear it much but she actually loves it. When she was packing for Nationals I ask for a picture and this is what I got. She pulls faces any time I get the camera out, usually her tongue out or her eyes funky but oh well I keep telling her one day I will show off these crazy pictures if she don't stop being silly with the camera hahahaha! I love this girl to pieces she is so beautiful inside and out. She is growing up way to fast she is one of my bestest friends! She is a good example to me and her family. She has good friends, and she is always trying to do her best. I LOVE YOU SIS! You are so cute in your eskimo hat!

Bowling Bloopers

Saturday night we went bowling with Eric, Melissa, Mason and our Clan. We always have so much fun with the Hansen Family we love these guys so much. Trying to keep mick and mason focused on the game, Shaunie trying to not hit the gutter, Shelby and Shaylie from being goof balls and Eric from stinking up the place was a chore so I really couldn't focus on my game and got beat by everybody......... Is that enough excuses?........ No really it was alot of fun just being with family. Scott was home helping chad with power at his house, he tends to miss out on our good times sorry hunny but you have learned that we will have fun with or without you.

Shaunie and I making our game plan.
It really didn't help me I still got beat by everybody, oh ya except Shaunie

Mason and Mick with there AWESOME hand shakes!

Shelby and Shaylie the official score keepers!

Eric looks so innocent, Mick's face though really gives you away.

We love you Eric but really you STINK~

We Love you guys and thanks for sharing a fun night with us. We are so lucky to have such good fun times with family! Melissa was really there she was behind the camera for the night love ya missy.

Our Wrestler

Wrestling is now over, until Feb-Mar when traveling begins. Mick had a Great time and has learned so much and improved each week. Saturday was the big day of Champions, it came down to the Gray team (micks) and the White team. The coaches had the boys pumped and ready. Mick had won his first two matches and was in for the 3rd . He comes over to scott and I and says "my team is counting on me to get a pin so we can win there will be lots of cheering when I wrestle if I pin the guy mom" I told him yes there would be lots of cheering but you just go out there and do your best. (NO PRESSURE from us or the coaches right) Well he did do his best Mick was so determined, he had his game plan in his head and went out on the mat and took care of business he had the kid pinned in less than 23 seconds. I couldn't even get a good picture it happened so fast. Because they score with all of your team points together they came up a little short and ended up with second. But they were all still happy and proud that they tried there best! WAY TO GO GRAY TEAM!! and WAY TO GO MICK you are awesome and we are proud of you. I am especially proud that you are a good sport and will go shake hands to the coaches and the co wrestlers and telling them good job after the match. You are growing up fast and becoming to learn good sportmanship, which to me and your dad is so very important to have as an athlete. Thank you to all the family that came to support mick. He has learned alot of his Good attitude because of you. GOOD JOB BUD! We love you to the moon and back.

Bear River Gray Team 2nd place winners!

He can do circles around us with his energy sometimes. Dad is funny and always jokeing around. He has many tricks up his sleeves for anyone. We love to here stories about him when he was younger he did have some wild times. He is always making us laugh. I don't think he looks (or acts) like he is sixty, Dad has had pretty good health so for my birthday wish for him is to continue with good health. I LOVE YA DAD HAPPY BIRTHDAY

ATTITUDE

Today was the start of a new Trimester. Grades are in and we start all over again. The girls were nervous to begin new classes but were both ready for a change. When they got home I ask how was your day and Shelby's reaction was "I loved it! I have the best classes" Shaunie's reaction" School really sucks" the difference in HS and Intermediate I guess. So they proceed to go on with there adventures of the day and I think it all comes down to ATTITUDE. Who has the better attitude towards school and who can put forth a little more positive ATTITUDE in their day.

Mick loves to play soccer or football at school. But he is loving Math right now he is always counting, adding, subtracting and writing numbers. Shaylie loves the social part of school I think the very most. But she also has new things going on. The new smart boards at school are the cool thing with her and the math that her class is working on. I love when the kids come home and have just figured something out that they think is so cool that they have to hurry and share it with mom. It is like a LIGHT BULB has turned on and they can't turn it off. LOVE IT!

I truly want the best for each of my kids. I was not the best student in HS so I guess I want more for shaunie and want her to do her best and feel good about what she can accomplish. I love each of my kids and I am so proud of their accomplishments they each are good students and do their best in school.

That being said I wish all students GOOD LUCK in this next trimester and go with a
POSITIVE ATTITUDE!
