My COMMENTS, What happened to them?????? I posted about a Great day and now I can't see no comments what in the world did I do? Hope to see everyone's comments on this winter weather I was itching for the SPRING weather I am tired of this SNOW!!!!

Quick Change of Season

Our Grass Almost Looks Green

Can you see the Pheasant strolling through our yard????
It was so fast we barely could get one picture

Yesterday was a beautiful day with the sun shining the birds chirping, warm enough to go for a walk around the block, remove Christmas lights offf the house, see the grass from the melting snow, see brand new baby piggies aaaaahhhhhhhh

What a Beautiful Perfect Day!!!!!!!!

And then we wake up to this HOLY WINTER

WINTER ALL OVER AGAIN
The snow is so heavy the tree looks like it could collapse onto the trampoline
Check out the power line...this was a wet, wet snow storm!

I was really starting to feel a little spring fever!!!!

DeNver TrIp

We planned another trip to Denver and invited two great people to tag along with us this year Joe and Heidi Summers. We had a riot we all four love livestock and the adventure it gives our families. What a better place to learn more about all of it than at the National Western Stock Show. Lots of Laughs, Fun, Walking, watching, and some shopping, more walking, watching and some shopping..
We stayed at a great place that shuddled us back and forth to the show and around Denver. Always a little excitement riding in a city you are not familiar with and with a driver that thinks the road is a race track with some quick stops. hahaha. Our room was a big suite it even reminded us of an apartment, not much was secret on this trip but made it exciting i'm sure..
We asked our driver for a request of a restaurant to go and eat, Steaks, seafood, salad he takes us to this fancy restaurant and we felt like we were the big hicks from the west, when we recieved the bill we all nearly gasped, we shook it off and said ok we are on vacation but tomorrow maybe we better look for a MCDONALDS j/k the bad part the food wasn't even really that good...
Heidi is known to love dogs and there was a SUPER DOG show in town so we all voted and decided it would be fun to go watch. We got there early and walked around and did some more shopping then found our seats. This gentlemen came up to us in his fancy suit and ask me to be a judge for his dancing dogs. Crazy me jumped at the chance thinking I would be sitting at a table or something not in the middle of the show and having to talk on the microphone in front of thousands of people duh!!! Well any way we all got some good laughs and I just went with the flow I mean reallly Joe, Heidi and Scott were the only ones that new me and they already know how crazy I am and still love me. Now if my kids would have been there they would have been way embarrassed and dis owned me for sure. Every year we seem to run into people we know from home and this year was no exception. The National Western Stock Show is something to be proud of. There are just good ol Country Folk there enjoying the same thing everyone there is enjoying we never seen crazy hair, earings everywhere you can imagine, tatoos nothing like here at our State fair it was nice we applaud them...
We had a great time and are already planning for next year... still thinkin on whether or not to bring the kids and animals, though it would be a fun experience for all of us.

GRATITUDE

Okay this might sound a little corny coming from me but, yesterday I was feeling full of GRATITUDE towards the teachers that have and are now teaching my children and I. I love when my kids can't wait to share with me about there classes at church. Shaunie was so touched yesterday she was tearing up just telling me about her lesson and how it meant so much to her to hear her leaders testimonies and experiences. Mick couldn't wait to tell me about the lesson he learned about Joseph Smith's vision, Shaylie can't wait to pass off her Articles of Faith to her leaders on Tuesday and Shelby felt bad that she had to miss because of a cold that is trying to creep up on her so she stayed home to get some extra rest. I am so grateful to all teachers and the time and effort they put into there lessons and sharing experiences with our youth so that they feel of thy spirit.... I am also Grateful to our Sunday School class and the teachers we have..I am finally liking to go to Sunday School (after many years) and enjoying what we are learning we have a couple of gentlemen in our class that like to put our teacher on the spot, stir things up with the lesson or just think to deep for themselves and the rest of us or maybe it is just me, for once if they would keep thier comments to a minimum maybe we could get through the lesson in which the teacher has taken much time and effort to prepare. Bro. Thurgood and Bro. Anderson do such a good job and know just how to bring the spirit with them each sunday I just want to give them a big hug each week. It certainly helps me throughout the week..
THANK YOU TO ALL TEACHERS

Mick's Day

Today Mick was Baptized a member of the church of "Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints". Mick was so excited for this day to come he had asked many questions about baptism and the Holy Ghost. He told us how special he felt and how he really thinks that he felt the spirit with him through out the day. Mick we are so proud of you and the choice you made to be baptized and confirmed a member of the true church of Jesus Christ. We know that the Holy Ghost will help you make good choices and comfort you when needed. We love you!!! January 31, 2009
