Shaunie and Tyrell posing by there project....CHEESE!!

Shaunie found some CUTE TALL boots they went to her knees but she loved them. We already packed an extra suitcase so we could bring home souveniers but if we bought them boots we would have to buy another suitcase for them..hahaha I can't imagine where they would of went on my short legs (she thiniks she wants them for christmas hint hint she says)

Shaunie had to throw this football into a hole to win a FORD shirt.. She had Texas, Missouri, and Michigan boys cheering her on...she don't look at all like she is having any fun...hahahaha She did win the shirt it wasn't really that hard

SAY CHEESE

candid moment all those sleeping boys in our van and shaunie is already for a picture moment

We stayed quite a ways out of town so our drive to and from the convention got a little boring this is where they could catch up on some sleep.

Trip to FFA NATIONALS

I got the opportunity to go with the Bear River FFA Chapter to Indianapolis for NATIONALS!! We had so much fun... I wasn't sure if Shaunie was all that excited being a teenager and having your mom tag along, but before the week was over we became alot more closer... Shaunie is amazing I am so PROUD of her and the accomplishments she is making, the goals she is setting and how she is wanting to be a better person in everything she does.. She is teaching me alot and I hope that I can share more experiences like this with her again.. I LOVE YA SIS!!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!

These trips and accomplishments would not happen without the AWESOME Ag teacher we have I didnt try to get his back side but this is mostly what we saw he was always 10 steps in head of all of us most of the time... Mr. T.J. Rhodes is motivated and he motivated Shaunie when she was a freshman and he continues to motivate her in setting goals and doing projects. Shaunie would not be as successful without this AWESOME teacher. He is continuously encouraging his students to do more and be more!!! THANKS T.J. for all you do we APPRECIATE all you do....

FALL BALL

Shelby and Shaylie have been playing ball this FALL in Brigham on Saturdays. The girls and I have been spending our Saturdays at the ball park bright and early we get there at 8:00 and depending on when Shelby plays we usually haven't got home until 4:00.. I love to watch the girls play ball and improve each week..Shaylie is on Sliders team with all girls her own age and is having a BLAST. She is making more friends and LOVES her Coaches. Shelby got asked to play on a team from Ogden the Stealers and they to are all the same age, she to is having a BLAST, making LOTS of new friendships and LOVES the POSITIVE encouragement her coaches all give her. She goes to practice with a smile and comes home with a smile.

If they are each LEARNING and HAVING FUN all this chasing I do is worth it!

Shelby is out for the fall season now, she slid wrong into 2nd base, thought she would be fine (TUFF) told her coach she could still play, so he put her on 3rd base and the next base runner slid into her sore foot which then put her right down in pain. The swelling began we immediately put ice on it then continued with ice for two days she could walk on it but was in pain, but the swelling had left and no bruise... This story get better... The GREAT parents she has says we "will get you to the dr" but did not get her there until TUESDAY this did happen on a SATURDAY. Dr. Bitner says "yep you done a doosy," Torn ligaments and it looks so weak that if you kept walking on it it would of snapped.... The Dr. said, "If there is NO swelling or NO bruise but PAIN this is a GOOD sign of a PROBLEM"... PARENTS OF THE YEAR right here hehe... anyway Shelby has to be PATIENT and let it heal right so she can get back to doing what she LOVES... (Keep fingers crossed that we will have no surgery)

and NOW we try to get all 10 bales of hay out of the canal before they block the water at the bridge and flood basements or other damage.
DID YOU KNOW THAT BALES OF HAY WILL FLOAT?
Scott ended up in the canal trying to hold them so they could get them out with the tractor, before it wasa all over Shane ended up in there helping out also..
Thanks to good family and good neighbors for helping
