Farm Days

Colter is in the top left corner, Melissa and Roger enjoying an ice cream after they served all the kids of course. The girl in the pink is not quite sure she likes the smell of the barn (I don't blame her). Bottom left: Doug proudly showing the kids how they milk the cows.

North Park Kindergarten has been coming to the farm for 32 years. Mr. Manning started this field trip when Scott was in his kindergarten class and it is still continueing on. The kids come to see the baby animals, see how the cows are milked, the milk tank, they also walk down the road to the cows (soon to have babies) and before it is all done Grandpa Doug always provides an ice cream cone. We all want to help be apart of this day it is so fun to see the kids reactions of the sights and smells of a farm. Many of these kids that come on this field trip have never been on or near a FARM. This is a good excuse for a sluff day from school for our kids they LOVE to help Grandpa out on this day! We hope they continue with this field trip it is always a good experience for those kids and adults to remember where the food comes from that is on there plates. Scott loves that saying
