This little guy was adored by all! Aunt Jamie, Grandma Debbie and Wanda holding Bay he didn't mind one bit the attention he was getting. He even shared lots of smiles with us all. Bay was a good little guy even when he wasn't sleeping!!

Horse shoes was pretty fun that was a new game for some of us so it was a little challenging.

THE CAGE

The batting cage was a BIG hit everyone was challenging themselves to do a little better than the last one that was in the cage. I think my family is a LITTLE competitive! hahahaha The missionaries joined us for lunch and got in on some fun with our family. Elder Dowd liked the batting cage best he was pretty good of course you know guys they all try to see who can do it best even with the highest speed ball!!! I think Grandpa and Isaac were the two winners. We also had a pitching game where you had to try and throw 5 strikes through the tire. It was all fun for those that PARTICIPATED...scott

DO YOUR OWN THING

Lots of relaxing and just enjoying each others company. Scott kept us supplied with water balloons. Grandma and Grandpa had the BEST prizes everyone wanted the blankets, Colter entertained us with a little guitar playin and song, Chad and his crazy faces.

EVERYONE NEEDS MORE WATER ON A HOT DAY!!

We ended the evening with some fireworks and a glow stick show from the kids. Next year we will for sure have more glow sticks to tape on the kids that was SUPER fun to see there dance moves in the dark!

Golden Heifers Elite

Scott and I along with some good friends put together a Heifer Show on Saturday the 27th it was LOTS of FUN and ya Lots of Work!! We had a GREAT turn out for the first year and are committed to another year now. Plymouths Little Critter 4-H group have had a Steer Jackpot show and we decided to join them and add a Heifer Show along with it. It helps our kids earn more points with their Heifers the more shows they are able to attend. It was in all a GREAT success ya next year we will tweek a few things and possibly do more things but in all it went GOOD!! The kids make new friends and get aqauinted with old friends and yes so do Scott and I it is fun to meet new people. We had people from Spanish Fork, Lehi, Caldwell, Avon, Logan, Murray, Malad, Fort Bridger and other places plus all the Locals. GREAT FUN!!

Top Left a Line up of AWESOME powerful Steers!! Top Right we had a cook shack with BBQ, drinks, brownies, POP and Candy along with the BEST help Eric, Melissa & Family, Grandma Deb and Grandma Tamera.. Bottom Left 3 cute cowboys that had shown steers and was just enjoyin the show. Bottom Right Shaylie along with Taylor from Spanish Fork showin there steers they were the top winners of there class.

Mick was the Champion BUCKET CALF winner along with Rawley Udy from plymouth and Emily Smith from snowville. Micks calf was trying to get away and he hit her on the nose with his show stick the judge ask him "does she try to do that all the time" mick says yes then the judge says "maybe you should not hit her on the nose then" hahaha .. ALWAYS SOMETHING TO LEARN when your SHOWIN

Shaylie and Hannah have become good friends through showin steers. This is where they met last year at this show. These two girls are so much alike, Always smilling and having fun they were so cute they each got to go back in for the Champion round and while they were waiting there steers got close and was rubbing noses together these two girls got giggling cuz they thought there steers became best friends at the show just like them two. It was so CUTE!!

This is what it is all about :)

HAVING FUN, TEACHING YOUR KIDS, and MEETING NEW FRIENDS

Scott and I want to THANK all those that helped make this a GREAT SUCCESS WE LOVE EACH OF YOU AND YOUR FRIENDSHIPS TO US AND OUR FAMILY THANKS!!

"Let The FUN Begin"

Mick is in HeAvEn when he is able to work with the calves. He LOVES this time of year. He has a lot of work to do before fair time but with his determination he will have this little heifer trained to follow him... He is so excited this little calf is out of his own cow that he showed the first year that he could do a BUCKET CALF project. He was there when this calf was first born and checks on her EVERYDAY she has a spitfire attitude so it will be another ChAlleNGE this summer for him to get her trained the way he wants her.

GOOD LUCK MICK, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

This is COlter with Mick, anytime these two can be together they are happy boys (especially Colter). Mick is so patient with Colter and loves to let him help out with whatever he is doing. Colter says "Colter help Mick" it is so cute to hear him talk and want to be just like the Big Boys. When I was taking these pictures the boys didn't know I was listening also. Mick was talking to Colter and telling him everything he new and which way to comb and why you comb the calves and etc....... It was so cute Colter was takin it all in. Just like mick has with watching and listening to his sisters... GOOD TRAINING it is never to early to start I guess!!!Posted by Picasa
